Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Label Maker Google Workspace Add-on and related services (the "Service") operated by Label Maker ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Description of Service

Label Maker is a Google Workspace Add-on that enables users to create and print labels directly within Google Docs. The Service includes features such as:

  • Access to label templates compatible with major label brands
  • Mail merge functionality with Google Sheets
  • Label design and formatting tools
  • Print-ready document generation

2. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must have a Google account. By using Label Maker, you authorize us to access certain information from your Google account as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for safeguarding your Google account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Free and Paid Services

Free Plan

The free version of Label Maker includes limited functionality, including a maximum of 50 labels per mail merge operation. Free features may change at any time.

Premium Plans

We offer paid subscription plans ("Premium Plans") that provide additional features including unlimited labels, unlimited mail merges, and priority support. Premium Plans are available as:

  • Monthly: Billed monthly at the current rate
  • Yearly: Billed annually at a discounted rate
  • Lifetime: One-time payment for perpetual access

4. Payment Terms

If you purchase a Premium Plan:

  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe
  • Subscription plans automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Prices are in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred

Refunds

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you are not satisfied with the Service, please contact us at info@labelmaker.co within 14 days of purchase to request a refund.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the add-on's account settings. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your account will revert to the free plan after the billing period ends
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other malicious code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect personal information about other users without consent

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Label Maker and its licensors.

Label templates provided through the Service are for your personal or business use in creating labels. You may not redistribute, sell, or sublicense the templates themselves.

7. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you create using the Service (your labels, documents, and data). We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LABEL MAKER, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Label Maker and its licensors, employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Any content you create or distribute using the Service

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Label Maker regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
